Post season celebrations for being woodenspooners yet again (although there was a 100% improvement, 2 wins as oppose to 1... 2 goals from yours truly compared to zero last year, but I like to tweak those statistics to say that I had a 100% success rate with goals per game when playing in the striker position).

Oh how much difference a week can make. Anyway not so joga bonito for me at the moment since we're back to our losing form. Apparently a touch with the the thigh or chest amounts to a hand ball. The richest moment in the game was when the ball accidentally hit the side of Mons head with her arms firmly against the side of her body, apparently this constituted a hand ball in the box for the ref to point to the spot. Darn you for being so fat you can't run to get a view of the action because you're huffing and puffing down at the other end of the field!!! Yes I'm angry, yes I'm bitter, yes I should probably reconsider taking up lawn bowling again as my sport of choice....

End of Financial year Party

The theme was K P M G, any theme starting with those letters. I was responsible for coming up with a theme for my group and again after my group's surprise win for grad night, I decided lack of taste and looking like a complete dick would be the way to go again.

So my group dressed up as Gene Simmonds gang. Sounded like a good idea until I saw everyone else prepare for their costumes a week into the party. Gorgeous satin dresses with corsets, suits with tails and top hats...my good idea did not sound so good anymore. But we came late to the party, made a grand entrance my partner David Drummond got waaaaayyy to into being Gene to the point that he requested "I was made for loving you baby"and resorting to stage diving where everyone kind of got out of the way...he's not the smallest fella.

The pencils were pretty cool and so were Playschool. Anyway all a pretty cool night.

Right now i'm living and breathing football. I love playing it, I love watching it, I love supporting it.

We won 3-2 today! James our coach didn't do one of those speeches fitting for a Mighty Ducks movie like during half time in last weeks win, but considering the way we celebrated you would have thought we won the world cup...as oppose to being at the very bottom of the ladder in a position that even if we won all of the remaining games we would still be at the bottom. We beat the team in the no.2 spot...so go us!

As I sit here procrastinating because i'm so behind on college work and realise I don't like this studying and working thing at all...all that talk about studying stops once you start working, or how the good thing about work is that you can leave it all behind after work is all BS...yes you heard it here first kids. Yes i'm a notorious whinger, and I know i don't have much to whinge about. I'm thankful for all I've seen and looking forward to all i have yet to see.

So i'm just reminiscing because it puts a smile on my face. The pictures and the memories..
I've been white water rafting and swimming in the gorgeous lakes of Queenstown New Zealand. I've sunbaked and climbed a coconut tree in Fiji. I rode an elephant and saw men dress up as women in Bangkok. I've shopped til I dropped in Hong Kong. I ate til my belly exploded in Singapore. I've seen the Big: Ben and the Eiffel Tower as well as the small: the Mannikin Pis in Brussels. I made a wish in the beautiful Trevi fountain had my breath taken away by the Sistine Chapel. I jumped out of plane over the mountains in tirol, skied in St. Anton and yodelled the sound of music in Salzburg. Ate waffles in Brugge, sailed in the Mediterranean near Corfu listen to Mozart in Vienna. Saw the terror of Aushwitz and Dachau, walked down a salt mine, ate perogi in Krakow. Took a steam bath in Budapest, walked across the gorgeous Charles Bridge at sunset in Prague. Seen the ecletic work of Gaudi, and ate a Doner kebab in Istanbul. I've had a guiness in Dublin and beer in Berlin and Munich. I've had a hot dog and bagel in New York, rode a cable car in San Francisco. Took a deep breath of fresh air in Yosemite, and rode the space mountain in disney land. Strolled through Balboa park in San Diego, haggled for cheap souvenaires in TJ, took a hot air balloon over the Sedona desert and flew over the vast empanse which is the Grand Canyon and of course gambled in Las Vegas.

And finally there will always be Amsterdam...
